Stamp of Approval

One of the very first things that caught my eye early on in my wedding planning process was a blog on Elizabeth Anne Designs that spotlighted beautiful calligraphy paired with vintage stamps.

I visited Byron at Park Cities Stamps who was extremely helpful in helping me search through his endless stacks of stamps in order to find the perfect combination of stamps that matched my color scheme. Aren't they fun?

The calligraphy font on the envelopes is Nelly Script. I took a class from Susie Melissa-Cherry at SMU in hopes of being able to do my own calligraphy for the invitations, but unfortunately it was not in the cards for me. Some of my favorite Dallas local calligraphers are Tara Jones and my friend Abbey Luby of Chips & Salsa Design Studio.
