Commemorating the Titanic at Hotel St. Germain

Shipwrecks have always been fascinating to me and the story of the Titanic is no exception. The charming Hotel St. Germain in Dallas hosted a special tribute throughout this past week to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Titanic tragedy.

At the hotel you could enjoy special White Star Cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and desserts, while perusing their plethora of Titanic memorabilia including archival photos, press clippings, a 32" replica of the ship, menu cards, and china. The poignant tribute was exceptionally well-done and it was interesting to see  first-hand some of the details of the Titanic.

I went too! Obsessed. They had so much more stuff than I'd expected. Talked to the "curator" for a bit, and she was a hoot. Glad you enjoyed it too!
