I ate my first churro at Disney World years ago and never forgot about it. Since then, the closest I've come to eating a churro is having cinnamon sugar on my toast or on a pretzel from the mall. The churro was made popular in Latin American and considering that I live in Texas, it's surprising that I don't see this sweet treat available more often. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places.
At home I've made Six Sisters Baked Cinnamon Sugar Cheater Churros a few times now. This baked version reminds me a lot of a sopapilla as it's so light and fluffy.
Do you know of any great churro places? Even if it's from a vendor at a baseball stadium, I want to know. My point of reference is Disney World, so I'm up for anything!
Yum! I am coming to your house for breakfast.
