Even though the sweet goodness of Ladurée macarons are originally from Paris and have even crossed the pond, it was still a magical treat to pop in their Burlington Arcade shop in London. Have you had a chance to enjoy a macaron yet? They have become a trendy treat as of late but they have been popular in France for years. Ladurée is celebrating their 150th anniversary this year of making their most famous sugary confection. We enjoyed Pétale de Rose and Caramel à la Fleur de Sel macarons and they both simply melted in our mouths. It was just as much of a treat to be in the gold-plated store as it was to enjoy the macarons!
