Sweet Spotting at Fashion's Night Out in Dallas

Oh, hai. This is my leopard friend from Fashion's Night Out in Dallas at Neiman Marcus NorthPark Center. I don't know her name but I assumed it was Nala. I spotted many insanely fantastic outfits all over town last Thursday, however, Nala and her peacock friend easily won the award for "best dressed"in my book.

I'll be honest. I wasn't out to ooh and ahh over fashion. Wait, what? It's Fashion's Night Out. While I adore a big-haired Dallas fashionista and envy SMU girls' frocks, I love the sweet accouterments they nibble on whilst wearing their fabulous outfits even more.  Don't get me wrong, I spied many pieces I'd love to have in my closet (ahem, Diane von Furstenberg and Amanda Sterret) but, a great ensemble means nothing unless you're sipping something bubbly with a trendy sweet in hand. How are you supposed to Instagram a good pic of your arm candy unless you've got fantastic nail art while holding your mini cupcake?

Below are a few of my favorite sweets from the evening, including a popcorn buffet bar and adult Sno-Kones at The Shak. Neiman's had quite the showing of sweets including a Fuzziwig's candy estimation prism (I guessed 1619 candy bars), jewel-tone macarons, cakeballs, and cookies from Tart Bakery, to-die-for cupcakes from Trailercakes (my favorite in Dallas), and breast cancer awareness cakeballs at Kiehl's, made by the friendly store manager who has personally battled breast cancer.

Did you enjoy any sweets at Fashion's Night Out in your city?
