Bacon-Wrapped Lil' Smokies

I told the husband I'd cook him whatever he wanted this past Thanksgiving. Since it was just us two, I figured it would be a good chance for me to perfect a classic Thanksgiving dish.

His request? Just your traditional Thanksgiving Bacon-Wrapped Lil' Smokies.


I'm a woman of my word so I made them without complaint. I wrapped the little weenies with bacon and a BBQ glaze and then stuck those bad boys in the oven for a bit. You're either drooling or repulsed right now, huh?

I've got to admit that I liked them even though I felt like I should have monitored my heart after eating them. They definitely aren't your standard Thanksgiving fare. If you've got a camp of carnivorous folk to feed for the Super Bowl though, you really can't go wrong with Bacon-Wrapped Lil' Smokies.
