Nostalgic Topeka Signage

Today is Kansas Day and to honor my great home state, I have some pictures of aging signage from around my hometown to share with you. Seems like a weird way to show the beauty of a place where the buffalo roam and the skies are not cloudy all day, right? I’m curious if there is anyone else who has an appreciation for signs that many would consider uninteresting and past their prime. Perhaps it’s the personal nostalgic value, but you could take me anywhere and if I see a unique but dated sign, I’ll probably like it.

Happy Kansas Day! Is there an official Topeka Day?

I was just talking to my sister about Bobo's like 30 minutes ago! I'm going back this weekend for the KU/OSU game and am trying to figure out where I want to get dinner on Friday night!
