In a perfect world, I wish I could blog about every sweet find that I make. Since I don't have the time or the energy for that (and it would be overkill to my readers seeing as I treat myself to something sweet just about every day), I'm going to start a new series at the end of every month called Sweet Spotting. I'll essentially have a photo dump of pictures from Instagram from the month before. Scroll down for information about each picture for January's Sweet Spotting.
New York Black and White Cookies. Recipe from Smitten Kitchen.
Skittles Sangria at The Common Table.
Celebrating National Pie Day at Emporium Pies. The Cloud Nine is filled with caramel, butterscotch custard, and toasted brown sugar meringue. Without a doubt it was the best piece of pie I have ever had.
Deliciously HUGE Great One Cookie Company Chocolate Chip Cookie.
French-themed desserts for The Paris Wife book club.
Grapefruit Froyo is the new seasonal flavor at Pinkberry. I'm not usually a fan of grapefruit but I liked it in froyo form.
Skimpy Mixers will be great for pool season. They were serving them at the Dallas opening of The Hair Bar. The fruity drink mixers are made locally and are definitely skimpy on the calories, not the taste (the calorie count does not include alcohol though).
Sometimes all you need are blueberry muffins from a box.

I'm definitely going to look forward to this post every month!
