Sweet Treats — Pinkberrygreek

It's no secret that I'm slightly addicted to Pinkberry. When my sister and niece visited us during spring break, we indulged in Pinkberry goodness twice in span of 24 hours. One of those times we even ordered seconds. The fact that my sister is a Registered Dietician made me feel OK about my constant pining for Pinkberry because there are so many options to enjoy without feeling terribly guilty.

Pinkberry recently launched their new Pinkberrygreek and to say that I was skeptical would be an understatement. In the wide realm of sweets, Pinkberry is one of my most guiltless options already, so was it really necessary for me to now sacrifice my frozen treat for real yogurt? Not just regular old yogurt but Greek yogurt. Ugh. In my handful of previous experiences with Greek yogurt, I was not much of a fan.

And then Pinkberrygreek walked into my life. When the good folks at Pinkberry invited me to sample their new concoctions, I almost declined the offer simply because of my previous relations with Greek yogurt. In keeping an open mind and knowing that Pinkberry has never failed me before, I went ahead and gave it a shot.

After tasting five inventive and flavorful combinations, I must admit that my feelings about Greek yogurt have changed. Of course, the incredible toppings certainly helped. Changing my mindset from anticipating a "treat" to thinking of it more as a "snack" made me like it even more. Enjoying a cup after the gym or eating it as a small meal replacement on occasion is how I'll have my Pinkberrygreek in the future.

I've got some good news for those who already love Greek yogurt and those who are hesitant to try it. Now through the month of April from 11AM-2PM on Wednesdays, Pinkberry locations nationwide will be giving out free, full-size Pinkberrygreek. How awesome is that?

Check it out and try one of the following flavors:

Strawberry Mango — strawberry, mango, toasted almonds, coconut, strawberry puree
Tomato Basil — grape tomato, fresh basil, olive oil, balsamic glaze, sea salt
Sunflower Cucumber — cucumber, sunflower seed bites, olive oil, organic chili powder
Chocolate Berry— blueberry, raspberry, dark chocolate granola, chocolate shavings, cinnamon honey
Kiwi Strawberry (not pictured) — kiwi, strawberry, mango, honey almond vanilla, organic vanilla agave nectar
