Sunday Brunch — Cinnamon Roll at The Mecca

Let me tell you about a cinnamon roll I ate recently. It was not just any regular cinnamon roll, but truly the mack daddy of all cinnamon rolls. The cinnamon roll at The Mecca has been on my Dallas dining bucket list for awhile so I was very excited to try it out. Short story: It was worth every single calorie.

Although it was drowning in butter, I had no complaints. It was as big as my face and perfectly sweet. Thankfully, my husband shared it with me because there is no way I could have eaten this bad boy alone. It's something that could easily be shared with three or four people if you're also ordering up breakfast, greasy spoon style. The standard eggs, bacon, and toast special was good, but it's this cinnamon roll that really made the impression.

It's a great place to get a coffee and enjoy a cinnamon roll! But first, we must donut date.
