Today's Sweet Summer Social guest post is by Laura Ernst of Cotton Glitter. Laura and I met at a blogger event in Dallas last summer and quickly bonded as soon as I learned she had a Kansas connection. Since then, we've become friends and I've taken some pictures for her personal styling business and fashion blog. She truly knows fashion and always inspires me to step up my trend game. We had such a fun time eating snocones and snapping pictures for this post.
If there is anything I like more than style it would be the wonderful, magical, tasty-delight known as the snow cone. I sit quietly, waiting patiently all year for summer to roll around so I can stand in the snow cone line with all the kids under the age of 12 to get my treat!
My twin sister and I have talked about buying our own snow cone business and living our the retro dream of shaved iced and sugar but have yet to make the plunge. Until then, let me guide you to the best snow cone stands in Texas!
Today, we went to The Highland Park Pharmacy for our treat and took a couple photos while we ate.
My favorite flavors are Wedding Cake and Strawberry but caution the red flavors...I look like a vampire after I eat those things. All in the name of sugar.
